On March 23–24, 2026, public safety professionals from across California will gather in Tustin, CA for the California RTIC Summit, a two-day event dedicated to advancing the capabilities and collaboration of Real-Time Crime Centers (RTCCs) and Real-Time Intelligence Centers (RTICs).
Hosted by the California RTIC Workgroup with support from the National Real Time Crime Center Association (NRTCCA), the summit will bring together analysts, sworn personnel, dispatch professionals, and command staff to share insights on the evolving role of real-time operations in modern policing.
The event will take place at the Orange County Sheriff’s Real Time Operations Center and will focus on practical discussions around operational strategy, emerging technology, and lessons learned from agencies operating real-time centers across the country.
Supporting the Real-Time Community
Fountainhead Control Rooms is proud to participate as a Saphire Sponsor of the inaugural California RTIC Summit. Events like this play an important role in bringing together the professionals responsible for designing, operating, and advancing real-time intelligence environments.
Across the country, law enforcement agencies are investing in RTCC and RTIC capabilities that help improve situational awareness, accelerate investigative workflows, and strengthen interagency coordination. As these centers continue to evolve, collaboration between practitioners, technologists, and facility designers becomes increasingly important.
Designing Environments for Real-Time Operations
Fountainhead Control Rooms works with agencies nationwide to design and build mission-critical operations centers that support the demanding workflows of modern public safety environments. These projects often include integrated solutions such as control room consoles, video wall systems, AV infrastructure, raised access flooring, lighting, and ergonomic operator environments.
Every real-time center is unique. Differences in staffing models, agency structure, investigative workflows, and technology platforms require thoughtful planning and careful integration of both the physical environment and the operational technology that supports it.
Our approach focuses on creating environments that enable analysts and operators to work efficiently, collaborate effectively, and maintain situational awareness during fast-moving events.
A Growing National Community
The California RTIC Summit highlights the continued expansion of real-time operations nationwide. Agencies are exploring new approaches to data integration, cross-agency intelligence sharing, and scalable infrastructure that can adapt as technology and operational demands evolve.
Events like this provide an opportunity for public safety leaders to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the professional network that supports the RTCC and RTIC community.
Fountainhead Control Rooms looks forward to participating in the summit and continuing to support the agencies and professionals who operate these critical environments every day.
