Fountainhead Control Rooms was selected to support Anne Arundel County’s transformative Real-Time Information Center (RTIC), a state-of-the-art facility designed for high-tech, real-time crime fighting. Located in a secure Millersville location, the $1.5 million RTIC leverages advanced technology to collect, analyze, and share data and video. Fountainhead played a key role in the development of the space, providing bespoke furniture solutions, including custom consoles, storage units, ergonomic seating, and meeting tables to ensure the facility’s operational needs were met.
As part of the design process, Fountainhead was integral in creating workspaces that would support the demanding environment of the RTIC. Each workstation is equipped with multiple monitors, designed to seamlessly integrate live video feeds from sources like police helicopters and security cameras across the county. Fountainhead’s bespoke console furniture was carefully tailored to accommodate the high-tech needs of the center while maintaining ergonomic standards for staff working in a high-pressure environment.
From concept to reality, Fountainhead’s contribution to the RTIC project ensured that the space met the specific needs of the police force. Our custom solutions, including modular meeting tables and adaptable seating, helped create a space that enhances collaboration and situational awareness. The RTIC is now equipped with a massive video wall and a range of advanced monitoring systems, empowering law enforcement to respond to incidents in real-time.
