Nashville's First Traffic Management Center: How NDOT Built the Infrastructure for Smart Mobility

Fountainhead Control Rooms designed and delivered Nashville DOT’s first Traffic Management Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The turnkey project transformed an existing space into a modern transportation operations environment with ergonomic operator transportation control room consoles, integrated visualization systems and capacity for future smart mobility technologies. The new TMC gives NDOT a centralized location for traffic monitoring, incident management and multimodal transportation operations.
